- 6 hours later, officers respond again. Jorge is arrested.
- Sarah is upset. “I’m literally begging you, don’t.”
- June 25 2019: Sarah signs a “Declination of Prosecution” Affidavit, requesting that charges be dropped.
- August 28 2019: Sarah calls 911. Officers respond to her apartment.
- Jorge is arrested.
- September 4 2019: Sarah Boone calls 911 from Brian Boone’s home, where she says she ended up after fleeing on foot.
- Her son, Lukas, is outside with her and tells officers he wants to be a police officer when he grows up.
- An officer drives her home but the apartment is locked. They knock for a while and Brian Boone brings the spare key.
- Jorge is found hiding in a bathtub upstairs. He is arrested.
- February 23 2020, 1:00 PM: A neighbor gets home from work and hears Sarah and Jorge already arguing.
- February 23 2020, 10:30 PM: A neighbor hears their argument “ramp up.”
- February 23 2020: A neighbor recalls it being silent for about 15 - 30 minutes.
- February 23 2020, 11:12 PM: Sarah films Jorge as he struggles inside the suitcase.
- February 23 2020, ~11:15 PM: A neighbor hears a slamming noise “like something is bouncing down the stairs between the railing and the wall and the stairs, like all the way down.”
- February 23 2020, 11:20 PM: Sarah films a second video. The suitcase is in a different position from the first video but in the same room.
- February 23 2020: Neighbors hear nothing else from the apartment.
- February 24 2020: Sarah Boone calls 911 and reports that her boyfriend, Jorge Torres, Jr., is dead.

- February 25 2020: The autopsy of Jorge Torres, Jr. is completed.
- February 25 2020: After an interview with two detectives, Sarah Boone is arrested.
- October 7 2024: Jury selection scheduled to begin for Florida v. Sarah Boone. Hurricane Milton caused a delay until October 14 2024.
- October 14 2024: Jury selection begins.
- October 25 2024: Sarah Boone is found guilty.
- December 2 2024: Sentencing scheduled.
