About Your True Crime Library

We are just two friends who love research. We began this project because we have sincere interest in the cases we select, and as we delve into research, we strive to educate ourselves about the circumstances and facts to the best of our ability.

In exploring the stories of the various cases we cover, we also take you inside our research. We’ve gone back through the archives and pulled numerous newspaper articles in their original format, cross referenced information and dug as deep as we can without being law enforcement with access to case files and other resources.

We will be breaking down everything from who the victim is/was, what’s known about those closest to them, give you background information and break down what is known — in some cases, it won’t be a whole lot.

Cases that make it to trial will receive thorough coverage via interactive maps, timelines, transcripts, original articles, interviews, and more.

Additionally, we want you to get involved. Whether that’s in the form of live discussions or engaging with others who are interested in the case or submitting tips if you have any information, it’s all relevant.

Perhaps most important, we aren’t here to sensationalise anything. While the cases & subject mater we cover is interesting, we aren’t here to turn tragedy in to entertainment at the expense of a victim &/or their loved ones.

For unsolved cases, we’ll go in to the theories that seem to be circulating on the internet and elsewhere & present them, while simultaneously exploring the areas that may make a theory more probable or alternately, poke more holes in it than Swiss cheese. We do not endorse any specific theory, but we cast an objective eye over them & provide context depending on what it is.
