On February 24, 2020 Sarah Boone called 911 to report that Jorge Torres, Jr. was dead. Audio and transcript are below.

Dispatch 1: 911 what is the location of your emergency?
Sarah Boone: 4748 Frantz Court, apartment three.
Dispatch 1: Four seven four eight… what's the street name?
Sarah Boone: Frantz. f-r-a-n-t-z.
Dispatch 1: and the apartment number?
Sarah Boone: Three.
Dispatch 1: Is this a police or medical?
Sarah Boone: My boyfriend is dead.
Dispatch 1: Okay, stay on the line for the fire department. Do not hang up.
[Dial tone, ringing]
Dispatch 2: Fire rescue, what is the location of your emergency?
Sarah Boone: No, please don’t leave!
Dispatch 1: That’s 4748 Frantz Lane apartment three.
Sarah Boone: Frantz Court.
Dispatch 1: Frantz Court?
Sarah Boone: Yes.
Dispatch 2: Okay, is this near McKenzie Drive?
Sarah Boone: I don't know where that is.
Dispatch 2: Okay. Okay.
Sarah Boone: Tealwood Park Apartments.
Dispatch 2: Okay, it’s 4748 Frantz, correct?
Sarah Boone: Correct.
Dispatch 2: All right, correct. Now, tell me exactly what happened there.
Sarah Boone: Uh, my boyfriend and I were playing last night and –
Dispatch 2: Mmhm.
Sarah Boone: – I put him in a suitcase and we were playing and –
Dispatch 2: Okay.
Sarah Boone: – like kind of hide and seek kind of thing. So, I fell asleep and I woke up and he was dead in the suitcase so, I don't know what happened. I don't know what happened.
Dispatch: Okay what's the apartment number?
Sarah Boone: Three.
Dispatch 2: Apartment three ?
Sarah Boone: Yes, like he has like blood coming out of his mouth and I don't know, like he had like an aneurysm or what happened.
Dispatch 2: Right, okay. Alright, okay. Listen, we're getting help out there to you.
Sarah Boone: – purple!
Dispatch 2: Alright, okay. Okay and I –
Sarah Boone: [unintelligible]
Dispatch 2: Okay, four oh, yeah, ma’am listen. We’re on our way out there to you. You’re at 4077168684.
Sarah Boone: 8684.
Dispatch 2: Okay is he hanging from somewhere or what, ma’am?
Sarah Boone: No! I pulled him out of a suitcase.
Dispatch 2: Out of the –
Sarah Boone: I tried giving him CPR.
Dispatch 2: Out of the, okay. So he’s out, he was in a suitcase?
Sarah Boone: Yes and I fell asleep.
Dispatch 2: Okay how old is the – how old is the boyfriend, ma’am?
Sarah Book: 42.
Dispatch 2: 42 year old man. Alright, okay. We’re, we’re sending help out there. Sheriffs Office on their way out there?
Dispatch 1: Yes, they are.
Sarah Boone: I'm sorry?
Dispatch 2: Yeah, okay. Alright, listen to me, okay. I, I just, I just need to confirm this.
Sarah Boone: [unintelligible]
Dispatch 2: Okay, I know. I understand. I just need to confirm this. Is he, is he awake at all? Is he conscious at all?
Sarah Boone: No, he’s purple.
Dispatch 2: Alright. Is he breathing?
Sarah Boone: No.
Dispatch 2: Alright. I need you to get, I need you to get him on the floor flat on his back for me, okay?
Sarah Boone: I did. I did. I tried giving him CPR.
Dispatch 2: Alright.

Sarah Boone: I'm sorry?

Sarah Boone: Yes.

Sarah Boone: Well, he’s not necessarily cold, but he’s stiff.

Sarah Boone: And purple!
Dispatch 2: Listen to me. I want you to lay him flat on his back for me.

Sarah Boone: He’s stiff and purple!
Dispatch 2: Alright, okay. Listen. Okay, Ma’am that's fine we're still going to compressions on him, okay? Alright, place the heel of your hand on his breastbone, right in the center of the chest, right between the nipples –

Dispatch 2: – put your other hand on top of that hand.
Sarah Boone: Ready! I'm telling you, just by looking at him you can tell.
Dispatch 2: Okay.
Sarah Boone: [screams] Please! Okay, he just gurgled!
Dispatch 2: Okay, okay. Li– Listen to me. Alright, I want to pla– I want you to place the heel of your hand –

Dispatch 2: Okay, between the – right between his chest, right between his breastbones –
Sarah Boone: Yes.

Sarah Boone: Yes! I –
Dispatch 2: We want – we want to pump his chest for me hard and fast. Go ahead and go this twice per second.
Sarah Boone: I'm doing it again.
Dispatch 2: Okay, no, no. Just keep on pumping. That's all you need to do for me. Keep on pumping his chest for me. That’s – I don't need you to stop and talk or anything.
Sarah Boone: [unintelligible]

Sarah Boone: Last night. We were playing hide and seek! He hid in the, the suitcase!
Responding officer: Okay. Yeah. Unfortunately, he’s been down too long. There’s nothing we can do for him now.
Dispatch 1: Hello, Ma’am?
Dispatch 2: And so we’re there, obviously.
Dispatch 1: Ah, okay. Alright.
Sarah Boone: My boyfriend.
Responding officer: He’s your boyfriend? Okay. Does he have any kind of medical issues?
Sarah Boone: No, not that I know of.

Dispatch 2: Hey Ma’am, the fire department’s gonna take care of you now, okay? Yeah so we'll see you there.
