Brian Higgins (cont’d from Friday. Attorney David Yannetti is taking over the cross from Alan Jackson*.) ATF Special Agent. Was at Waterfall and 34 Fairview on 29 January. Alleged to have had some kind of flirtation or romantic entanglement with Karen Read. Details are unclear. Owner of Jeep Wrangler with plow attachment seen outside of 34FV by Matt and Jen McCabe.

Testimony per Dr. Justine Rice, MD:
- 6:47 AM Officer O’Keefe arrives at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Brockton, Mass. He is in cardiac arrest.
- 7:50 AM Time of death declared.
- From medical notes:
- Right superior orbital ridge region approximately 7mm laceration with surrounding soft tissue swelling slash contusion. Pt. had breath sounds present bilaterally. Pulseless. Abdominal exam was atraumatic. extremity exam or musculoskeletal exam showed he had superficial abrasions (scratches) on the right forearm.
- GCS 3.
- Three components of Glasgow Coma Scale:
- Verbal function.
- Motor function.
- Eye or ocular function.
- Someone who's completely unresponsive, as in no motor, no verbal, and no eye movement or function, completely unresponsive, the lowest you can get on the scale is 3.
- YTCL notation: While no other injuries were noted, the concern was for ensuring he had a breathing tube in place and proper CPR was being performed. Fractures, or other injuries are not typically the biggest concern. No x-rays or scans were taken in ER. Only lifesaving measures were preformed. No need for further ER response once patient is declared.
- Karen Read sectioned and blood was drawn.
- Alcohol measured 93 mg/deciliter.
- BAC = 0.081% (over the legal limit of .08.)
- Retrograde extrapolation range 0.13 - 0.29 at 12:30 AM.
