The Murder of Charles Vallow

Lori Vallow has been found guilty of conspiring with her brother Alex Cox to murder her then-husband, Charles Vallow.

• Charles Vallow married Lori Ryan in 2006. Together, they adopted JJ Vallow, the biological grandnephew of Charles.
• On July 11, 2019, Charles Vallow was shot and killed by Lori Vallow’s brother, Alex Cox at her home in Chandler, Arizona. Cox claimed self-defense and no one faced charges at the time.
• Lori Vallow was found guilty on April 22nd, 2025.

• There are 12 men and 2 women on the jury. Alternates have not been chosen. The final makeup of the 12 deliberating jurors is currently unknown.
• There were initially 13 men but one was dismissed on April 7th.
