Gabby Petito Documentary to Premiere 17 February

Netflix has announced American Murder: Gabby Petito is scheduled to premiere on 17 February.

The 2021 disappearance and murder of aspiring van life travel vlogger, Gabby Petito, at the hands of her fiance, Brian Laundrie captured international headlines and prompted conversations surrounding women and domestic violence.

Public criticism and anger grew after reports of eyewitnesses who saw Laundrie slap Petito outside a Moab, Utah cafe only for police to stop the couple a short time later but making no arrest. Petito would be dead a few short weeks later.

Netflix is set is revisit the case and the story in the upcoming documentary, American Murder.

Petito’s parents have become staunch advocates, bringing awareness to domestic violence through The Gabby Petito Foundation.
